ExoConsulting: Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador

ExoConsulting is proud to announce that we are now a Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador. The WRN Ambassador initiative is a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) effort to formally recognize NOAA partners who are improving the nation’s readiness, responsiveness, and overall resilience against extreme weather, water, and climate events.

What is a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador?

In 2014, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) established the Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador™ initiative. The program was founded to recognize partner companies and their efforts to improving the national readiness, responsiveness, and overall resilience against extreme weather and climate events.

In support of WRN Ambassador initiative, ExoConsulting is collaborating with educational technology company, Nepris. This partnership is bringing information about careers in meteorology to junior high and high school students. In the near future, we will collaborate with the Norman, Oklahoma Weather Forecast Office on public outreach topics; ExoConsulting will also develop and publish our own emergency preparedness plans. Storm preparation and planning are critical elements of being a Weather-Ready Nation, even in a work-from-home environment.

ExoConsulting’s collaboration with NOAA and other WRN ambassadors will aid in unifying the efforts across government, non-profits, academia, and private industry toward making not only the nation, but also race fans, media, teams, and the host tracks more ready. Together, we will inform and empower communities, businesses, and people to make pre-event decisions that can be life-saving and prevent or limit devastating economic losses. We are a nation of many communities, and it is only through connected communities that we will achieve this goal.
