ExoConsulting, Aaron Studwell, Ph.D., Atmospheric Science, Founder

Dr. Aaron Studwell completed his PhD in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Houston. His research focused on planetary atmospheres, specifically, Saturn’s global-scale dynamics and long-term patterns.

After completing his doctoral work, Dr. Studwell founded ExoConsulting in Norman, Oklahoma. He has over twenty years of experience in energy weather, motorsports, and marine forecasting, along with air quality meteorology. Aaron was one of the first meteorologists in the energy trading sector, working in senior research and forecasting roles. In 2003, he founded RaceWeather providing accurate forecasts and timely race weekend updates to the NASCAR community. Before returning to academia full-time in 2019, he was the Marine Team Lead for DTN-Wilkens Weather, where he oversaw the company’s marine forecasting operations in their Houston, Texas office.

Aaron graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Meteorology and from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. He holds active memberships in the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Society, & the North American Society of Sports Management.

Connor joined RaceWeather in February 2024. He is working on his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Texas A&M University. His responsibilities will include forecasting for the IMSA race series, maintaining the RaceWeather site, and developing social media content to inform our followers. Additionally, he will provide updated weather information during race weekends.

From a young age, he has fostered a love for both meteorology and auto racing.  In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, sim-racing, and fishing.  He is excited to join RaceWeather and to better himself as a Meteorologist.

Ciara Donlon joined EC Sports Management in April 2024 as Director of Marketing. She was rapidly promoted to our Director of Commercial Operations in July 2024.

With a focus on developing comprehensive marketing strategies across all ECSM sports, Ciara collaborates with both internal and external teams to ensure the successful execution of all brand deliverables.

Prior to this, Ciara served as the National Director at Nike Sports Camps, orchestrating initiatives to provide scholarships to underserved athletes across the country. Her tenure at NSC allowed her to collaborate with companies like Gatorade, America’s Charities, and NCSA.

In her free time, she supports the San Diego Sockers and the San Francisco 49ers. Ciara is committed to providing a well-rounded service to all ECSM clients and partners.

Ciara Donlon
Director of Commercial

Chase joined RaceWeather in February 2024. His responsibilities will include forecasting for the Formula 1 race series, maintaining the RaceWeather site, and developing unique weather-focused media content to engage our viewers. Additionally, he will provide live weather conditions for the race weekends.

Chase is a senior at Texas A&M University from Lantana, Texas, preparing to graduate with a bachelor's degree in meteorology in May. He has always had a passion for the weather and is ecstatic that his dreams are coming true. Chase is an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and Formula 1 fan. He is excited to join our team and learn more about atmospheric sciences and their impact on motorsports.

Ben-Collins Ndinojuo, Ph.D. joined EC Sports Management in October 2022 as a Sports Management Consultant. In this role, he assists in different aspects of the business, including marketing, strategy, & overall corporate growth for EC Sports Management. Ben has a Ph.D. in Communication Studies and is a lecturer at the department of Journalism and Media Studies, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where he teaches a number of courses, including sports journalism.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and watching sports, especially soccer, basketball, F1, and motorsport, while maintaining a keen interest in golf. Ben is eager to work for ECSM and learn more about recruiting high-impact soccer players in Nigeria and across Africa.

Elizabeth joined RaceWeather in June 2022. She recently completed on her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Texas A&M University. For as long as she can remember, she has always wanted to be a meteorologist.

She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and painting. She is excited to join our team and learn more about atmospheric sciences and their impact on motorsports and commodity trading.

​Jackson Sears joined EC Sports Management in October 2022 as a Sports Management Consultant. In this role, he assists in various facets of the business including marketing, client retention, & overall corporate growth for EC Sports Management.

Jackson is currently working on his Ph.D. in Sport Administration at Georgia State University. He brings experience from the academic side of sport management via research projects, including two publications in scholarly sport management journals. Additionally, he brings experience from the industry via his time working in Corporate Partnerships with the Jacksonville Jaguars. When he is not working, Jackson loves to travel across the United States and abroad.

Alex Studwell joined ExoConsulting in May 2021 as a Research Analyst and graduated in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University, with a major in computer science. He currently works at Epic Systems as a Software Developer. His responsibilities include working on data gathering, as well as analytics.

Alex enjoys programming side projects in his free time, as well as all forms of racing. He also collects many types of jerseys, ranging from hockey to soccer.

EC Sports Management is proud to announce the return of Rob Tiongson. Rob will be a Freelance Contributor for EC Sports Management, delving into an array of topics relating to motorsports, particularly with feature stories focusing on drivers, the connection between fans and racing series like NASCAR and other related projects to the business.

Rob recently graduated from St. Bonaventure University, earning his Master of Arts in Digital Journalism in May 2023. Aside from EC Sports Management, Rob is a National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA) journalist known for his works with The Podium Finish.
